2011

Hello everyone, thanks to my clients for a wonderful year, it was difficult alone but I still coped and I think way better than most corperate companies and fancy names. Many things I wanted to add and improve on I could not, others I successfully improved on, thanks to some clients that became friends and helped a lot with feedback, suggesions and loads of compliments armed with very productive constructive criticism. I am in Italy now until the 20th of January working on website, products and wefting the hairs neeeded for a good 2011. I changed suppliers and in many cases became the fussy client I never wanted to be. But it all worked out as I now have reliable supliers of raw hairs and products who can update me regularly, can understand when I ask about ingredients in their products and will not lie to me about the textures.

This year every service will be given the time it deserves and I urge clients to book at least a week or two beforehand to avoid waiting or rushing(although with bad weather in December that was inevitable). I have introduced aftercare products to go with treatments, I aim to give special attention to the natural haircare. Last year I tried so hard to satisfy my afronaturals but it was not easy. Armed with technology and planning ahead afronaturals will get steam treatments(of course drealocks and afrrolocs too as well as anyone who wants a micromist deep treatment).
Weaves and extensions will have scalp treatment and maintenance information to go with them as well as kits should clients be interested in purchasing. Custom sheasouffles for split ends and custom argan serums for dryness and hair-scalp health.

Straightening aand texture control treatments will be in 3 grades. keratin straightening for european har types, keratin straightening for afro and mixed hairs, keratin straightening for chemically altered hair or damaged i.e. relaxed hair, bleached blonde hairs and hair that has been generally damaged and abused for years.

For afronaturals we will combine according to client request and requirement but curly creams and souffles will be a staple for services regarding this lovely hairtypes.

Basically this year we will define,integrate,lenghten, treat, care and be fabulous doing it.

For dreadlocking and afrolocs we will also have specials including spritzes that will go with the service. Afroloc wearers and natural dreadlock wearers or dreadlock extensions wearers can purchase interlocking retetighening key upon availability. I am having them made as I am writing.

For blondes, brunettes, afrohair, mixed textured hairs, services of extensions, products and treatment will all be given equal attention this year. This is my commitment. Hairs available for weaving will be strictly virgin hairs and relaxed or permed textures upon requests, afrocurlies and kinky curlies will be available too but you must call or text to find out if it is in stock for seperate purchase or inclusive with service.

micro strand extensions: pretipped and loose bulk grade A hair(from 100)

More about me: my "hairstory"

I modelled in my younger days and that is how I started getting into everything hair and general aesthetics, many stylists did not know what to do with my hair and hair extensions was nothing new so I showed a hair stylist one day how to put a weave on my hair and he let me work with him. At that time weaves and hair extensions was only available to the rich, hair systems specialists and very few “ethnic” circles. I worked with him and got extensive training in different industry methods. I know that in hair extensions,(I guarantee you) nothing is new under the sun that has not been tried yet, I have done workshops and training, I have used patented machines, bonds and have worked with industry’s systems, a humble experienced woman I am. The only thing I have learnt is are two, know what hair is made of, how it behaves and know the components of what you are using to extend. If you do not know the basis on hair extensions in general, it is very easy for someone to tell you amazing things about their particular systems. So I hope to educate, transform looks, enlighten, enhance, bless and be blessed by those with whom I encounter on my work journey as i grow and establish myself although I am quite happy where I love my niche clientele.

(I have travelled a bit around Europe and I have worked with hair for years, moreso I have studied hair, chemistry and herbalism and they seem to come in handy when I use products too! I do have a very rare appreciation for natural hair and I like for hair extensions to enhance natural hair and not damage or debilitate it, hence I make sure I inspect chemical products for hair extensions, especially the bonding glues and aftercare products.

I have had extensive training in strand by strand methods of extension, hair integration, weaves, afronatural textured hair, dreadlocks, braids, dreadlock extensions etc. Even if I do not do your hair, I can guarantee you that even a consultation leaves you with enough knowledge and information to never be fooled by no big names in the industry. Hair extensions and hair grooming is the oldest trade in the world!
